We've been trying out the TK Audio BC1-S Stereo Bus Compressor on a range of activities, for both mixing and tracking.
We've tried it for mix buss compression, taking all the bus stems and running them through the BC1-S using the ADI-2 for mastering quality conversion of the D/A and A/D signals. It adds real punch and vibe to some of the rock tracks we've been working on.
We've tracked bass and vocals through it too.. Always very transparent even at high compression levels in a way that plugins just cant do. Really nice bit of kit !
